Creative Leadership of School Administrators as Perceived by Teachers Under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Songkhla Satun

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) investigate creative leadership among school administrators; 2) compare creative leadership among school administrators; and 3) compile recommendations for implementing creative leadership. The sample consisted of 338 civil servant teachers under the Songkhla and Satun Secondary Educational Service Area Offices. The sample size was determined by Krejcie and Morgan table (1970). The sample size was stratified by school size and then randomly selected by lot. The research instrument was a 60-item questionnaire with a reliability of .991. The statistics used included mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, paired comparisons (LSD), and content analysis. The results revealed that: 1) overall creative leadership among school administrators was at a high level; 2) no statistically significant differences were found when stratified by age and educational level but they were found in some areas when stratified by gender (creativity, .05 level), work experience (vision, .05 level), and school size (overall, .05 level; In terms of teamwork, level .001) and 3) administrators should have a clear vision, far-sighted, flexible, adaptable, building good relationships, opening to new ideas, promoting equal teamwork, and using creativity and innovation to develop the school sustainably.
