Study of Current Stage in English Learning of Network Uten Nontan group Thauten District Nakhonpanom Province

Abstract

The objective of this study were to investigate of study of current stage in English Learning of Network Uten Nontan group Thauten District Nakhonpanom Province in elementary schools in 2016. The respondents were 60 teachers in elementary schools who completed the questionnaire which were statically analyzes by descriptive statistics: percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results revealed that most English teachers in elementary schools were not graduated in English or teaching in English. For the listening and speaking the used most were practice the accent of words and the used less were games and Instructional Media for practices. For the reading and writing the used most were do worksheet, knowledge sheet and reading and the used less were practice the accents. The room for study the most were vocabularies and picture cards were posted around the classroom and surrounding areas. The room for study the used less was radio, video media for listening and speaking. The testing the used most were teachers had worksheet and give score and used pre-test and post – test. The most common problem found that teachers lacked motivation and thought that it was not necessary to do activities.
