The Development of Strategy to Enhance Students Skill in the 21set Century in Schools under Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The present study aimed 1) to study the current situations, desirable situations and needs, 2) to develop the strategy to enhance students' skill in the 21st century of teachers under Chaiyaphum primary Educational service area office 2. There were 2 phases of the study. Phase 1 was the study related to the current situations, desirable situations and needs of development the strategy. The sample of this phase was 338 and the questionnaire was used to collect data. Phase 2 was divided into 2 parts ; part 1 was the study of schools where there was best practicing of the strategy, there were 6 participants consisted of school administrators, teachers who were responsible for academic section and teachers in schools, interview questions were used to collected data. Part 2 was the development of the strategy to enhance students' skill in the 2 1st century of teachers under Chaiyaphum primary Educational service area office 2, there were 5 experts who evaluated the strategy, and the evaluation form was used to collect the data. The statistics used in the study consisted of percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results of the study revealed that 1) the current situations of development the strategy showed that overall rated in more level consisted of 1.1) strong citizen skill,

1.2) learners' skills aspect and 1.3) creator of innovation, information, materials and technology skill. 2) The desirable situations showed that overall rated in most level comprised of 2.1) strong citizen skill, 2.2) learners' skills aspect and 2.3) creator of innovation, information, materials and technology skill. It could be arranged according to needs of development the strategy were shown as follows ; 1) creator of innovation, information, materials and technology skill, 2) learners' skills aspect and 3) strong citizen skill.
