Situations and Needs of Self Development and Teachers Professional in Schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon

Abstract
The purposes of this study were 1) to study the current situations and desirable situations conditions of self development and teachers professional 2) to study the needs of self development and teachers professional. The samples were 338 school teachers. The sample size determination using a percentage basis and they were selected by stratified random sampling, according to the size of the school. There were 2 instruments used in this study: 1) checklist is the current situations of self development and teachers professional with the index of item objective congruence (IC) .60 - 1.00, the discrimination between .43
- .81, and the reliability of .97; and 2) checklist is the desirable situations conditions of self development and teachers professional with the index of item objective congruence (IC) .60
- 1.00, the discrimination between.36 - .72, and the reliability of .95. The statistics employed were percentage, mean and standard deviation and Priority Needs Index Modified. The result were as follows: Overall current situations of self development and teachers professional were at the high level, and overall desirable situations conditions of self development and teachers professional were at the most level. And (2) The needs that have with the highest average, the top 2 are Participation and leadership in the exchange of professional learning, and Putting knowledge and skills to good use
