Developing Multimedia Using Intelligent Thinking Method to Promote Creativity of Students in Matthayomsuksa 1

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to develop multimedia to promote creativity of students in M.1 by using intelligent thinking method. (2) to study creativity of students in M.1 after using the developed media (3) To study satisfaction of students after using the media. By using cluster sampling method, the sample group consisted of 30 students in Matthayomsuksa.1 level of Submongkolwittaya School, Thep Sathit District ; Chaiyaphum Province. The employed research instrument were 1) the developed multimedia using intelligent thinking method 2) the creativity measuring form 3) the satisfaction survey. Statistic methods that were employed to use in the study were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.


Research findings were as follows: 1) By using the multimedia which was consisted of 1) using Lily UPC font 2) using the soft color as the background 3) using cartoon character to present the idea along with slides 4) the slides along with the 2D animation to present motion pictures 5) using various sounds such as instrumental music, soundtrack as well as narration to explain the matter 6) interactive between users and the multimedia which allowed users to stop, continue, etc at will 7) using the visual elements as the main subject in the developed multimedia, after evaluating the quality of the multimedia, the experts said that 1) the multimedia is in high quality level 2) After using the developed multimedia, the students had increased their creativity and 3) students were satisfied with the developed multimedia after using it in the high level.
