A Model of Participation School Community And Temple in the Development of Moral and Ethics for Students in Basic Education School in Sisaket Province.

Abstract
The research aimed to study 1)the current conditions and the problems in participation of the schools, the communities and the monasteries in the development of virtues and ethics in the students in the primary schools in Sisaket province, 2) the model of the participation of the schools, the communities and the monasteries in the development of virtues and the ethics in students, 3) to create the model of the participation, 4) to evaluate the model of participation, and 5) propose the model of participation of the schools, the communities and the monasteries in the development of virtues and ethics in the students in the primary schools in Sisaket province.The research was both qualitative and quantitative. The populations were 305 schools under the jurisdiction of Sisaket’s Educational Service Area 1. The sample size was formulated by Yamane’s formula. The samples under the study numbered 174. The informants in the study were representatives of the schools, the communities and the monasteries. The research instruments were the questionnaire, the record of the group conversation, and the interview for the satisfaction. Statistics used in data analysis consisted of , S.D. IOC, and triangulation.
The research findings were as follows:1. Considering the current conditions and problems in participation of the school, the community, and the monastery in the development of students’ moral, it was found that an overall participation was from moderate to high levels (x̅ = 3.89-3.81); the problems in participation were from moderate to less degrees (x̅ = 3.40-2.22)
2. A study of the model of participation of the school, the community and the monastery in the moral and ethics development of students in the small, medium and large sized schools Sisaket province found that the school, the community and the monastery participated in four stages: preparation, planning, and process and performance evaluation.
3. As for the creation of the model of participation of the school, the community and the monastery in the development of virtues and ethics in the students in the primary schools, the researcher had created a diagram showing the relation with nine components: policy and objectives, participation process, guidelines, structure and those in charge, strategic plan, yearly operating plan, operation and production.
4. Regarding an evaluation of the participation of the school, the community and the monastery in the development of virtues and ethics in the students in the primary schools, the researcher had created the evaluation instrument in four aspects: conformity, appropriateness, possibility and usefulness. It was found that the developed model had the qualify ranging from the most to more as shown in a descending order (x̅) 4.6, 4.6, 4.6 and 4.5.
5. Concerning the presentation of the participation of the school, the community and the monastery in the development of virtues and ethics for the students in the primary schools, it was found that the informants were satisfied with the created model at the maximum level (x̅=4.68).
