Abstract

        The purpose of this article is to present a concept as well as ways of behavior modification over the people, especially, the students. It is a kind of psychological methodology employing behaviorism approach to replace people with undesirable behavior with people with desirable behavior. The behavior modification is a kind of employing learning theory systematically to enhance capacity, ability, self and to increase self control capability of the people through its ways under different kinds of techniques including; positive reinforcement, feedback, token economy, punishment, staunching, as well as self control,and these techniques are treated over a person’s behavior modification done by himself and a person’s behavior modification done by the others. The behavior modification process is in order as followings: 1) Defining the target behavior, 2) Collecting and recording baseline data, 3) Behavior Analysis, 4) Identifying potential reinforces, 5) Planning and implementing the intervention and 6) Evaluating the effects of intervention.
