The Guidelines for the Effective Curriculum Administration under Mahasarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

This research was aimed 1) to study a current condition, a desirable condition, and the need for the curriculum administration under Mahasarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample group consisted of 202 people: administrators and heads of the academic department. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. 2) to develop the guidelines for the effective curriculum administration under Mahasarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample group consisted of school administrators and heads of the academic department from 3 school under Mahasarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 chosen by purposive sampling. The research tools were the interview, and suitability and feasibility evaluation scale which were evaluated by 7 specialists. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation.

The results were as follows 1) The current condition was overall at high level. The desirable condition was overall at utmost level. The needs ordered in descending, namely, school curriculum creation, preparation, curriculum used conduction and supervision and assessment. 2) The guidelines for the effective curriculum administration of the schools consisted of 4 aspects and 33 guidelines. The suitability evaluation scale and the feasibility evaluation were overall at utmost level.
