บทคัดย่อ

ประเทศแคนาดาเป็นประเทศที่มีการบังคับใช้กฎหมายคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลมาอย่างยาวนานก่อนที่จะมีความตื่นตัวของประเทศต่าง ๆ ในการออกกฎหมายมาบังคับใช้กับการคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล และยังเป็นประเทศที่ได้รับการรับรองจากสหภาพยุโรป ว่ามีระดับมาตรฐานการคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลที่เทียบเท่าสหภาพยุโรป (EU Adequacy Decision) ในการรับโอนข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลจากผู้ประกอบการในสหภาพยุโรปอีกด้วย
